Annette Taddeo

Annette Taddeo is an American politician and businesswoman born in 1967. She has been involved in politics as a member of the Democratic Party, with a career spanning several elections. Taddeo served in the Florida Senate, representing the 40th district from 2017 to 2022. Prior to her senate tenure, she gained experience as a candidate in various elections, including her role as Charlie Crist's running mate in the 2014 Florida gubernatorial election.

Taddeo has continued to pursue public office, albeit with unsuccessful bids. In 2022, she initially sought the Democratic nomination for the Florida gubernatorial election but later shifted her focus to challenging incumbent María Elvira Salazar in Florida's 27th congressional district, which was also unsuccessful. Her most recent attempt at public office was in 2024, when she ran for Miami-Dade County Clerk, ultimately losing to incumbent Republican Juan Fernandez-Barquin.
