Howard Kaylan

Howard Kaylan is a retired American musician and songwriter, born in 1947. He initially gained recognition as a founding member and lead singer of the 1960s rock band The Turtles. During his tenure with the band, Kaylan played a significant role in shaping the group's sound and style. His musical career, however, was not limited to this band, as he went on to explore other creative ventures.

In addition to his work with The Turtles, Kaylan formed the rock duo Flo & Eddie in the 1970s, alongside his friend and bandmate Mark Volman. As a member of this duo, Kaylan performed under the pseudonym Eddie. He also had a stint as a member of Frank Zappa's band, The Mothers of Invention, further expanding his musical repertoire and collaborations. Through these various projects, Kaylan established himself as a versatile and talented artist within the music industry.
