Tommy Rettig
American child actor (1941–1996)
Thomas Noel Rettig was an American child actor who gained recognition for his roles in various television series and films. Born in 1941, Rettig began his acting career at a young age, landing notable parts in popular shows. One of his most iconic roles was as Jeff Miller in the CBS television series Lassie, which he played from 1954 to 1957. This early success led to his appearance in other notable series, including the TV anthology series Four Star Playhouse.
As Rettig grew older, he continued to work in the entertainment industry, transitioning to more mature roles. In the mid-1960s, he co-starred with fellow former child actor Tony Dow in the television teen soap opera Never Too Young. During this time, he also explored his musical side, recording the song "Never Too Young" with the singing group The TR-4. Rettig's career in the entertainment industry eventually gave way to other pursuits, and he went on to become a computer software engineer and author before his passing in 1996.
