Avraham Abba Leifer
American rabbi (1918-1990)
Avraham Abba Leifer was a prominent American rabbi who served as the second Rebbe of the Pittsburgh Hasidic dynasty. Born in 1918, he played a significant role in the development of the Hasidic community, particularly in his efforts to relocate the Hasidut from its original base in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
