Baruch Ashlag

Polish kabbalist rabbi (1907–1991)

Baruch Ashlag was a prominent Polish kabbalist rabbi, born in 1907. As the firstborn son of Yehuda Ashlag, also known as Baal Hasulam, he succeeded his father in his spiritual pursuits. His father was a renowned author, best known for writing "The Sulam" commentary on the Zohar, a foundational text in Jewish mysticism.

Baruch Ashlag continued his father's legacy by producing notable writings of his own, including Shlavey ha Sulam, Dargot ha Sulam, and Igrot Rabash. Through his work, he contributed to the preservation and development of kabbalistic thought, ensuring the continuation of his family's spiritual traditions. Baruch Ashlag passed away in 1991, leaving behind a significant body of work that remains relevant to students of Judaism and kabbalah.
