Dušan Klein

Dušan Klein was a Czech film director and screenwriter, born in 1939 to a family of Slovak-Jewish origin. He made a significant mark in the film industry, particularly with his comedic series "Poets", which consists of six films and is considered his most notable work.

Klein's career extended beyond filmmaking, as he also dedicated himself to education. From 1990 to 2002, he worked as a university teacher, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of filmmakers. Dušan Klein passed away in 2022, leaving behind a legacy in the Czech film industry.
